New Challenges, Measures, Technologies, and Developments | The 9th Shandong Coarse Feed Conference was held in Weifang

Based on new development, implementing new theories, and constructing a new pattern, the 9th Shandong Coarse Feed Conference with the theme of "New Challenges, New Measures, New Technologies, and New Development" was held in Weifang from May 25th to 26th, 2023, with CTC China invited to participate.

This conference is hosted by the Shandong Dairy Association, named after Beijing Guoke Chengtai Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Equipment Co., Ltd., co organized by Qingdao New Hope Qinpai Dairy Co., Ltd., Hanting Youran Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., and sponsored by Qingdao CTC Feed Co., Ltd., and other units. "Cowherd people" from all walks of life in the industry gathered in Weifang to jointly explore new problems in the industry and provide suggestions for revitalizing Shandong's dairy industry, Discuss the survival and development of Shandong's dairy industry and the development plan of the coarse feed industry together.

At the same time, the fifth expanded meeting of the third session of the Shandong Dairy Industry Association was held to study and discuss the next steps of the association, explore solutions to save costs and improve efficiency under the current situation, and review and approve the proposal to add member units.

The launch of the "Standard for Cost Accounting of Raw Milk Production in Large Scale Dairy Farms" in Shandong Province marks the beginning of the development of the first group standard for cost accounting in the dairy industry in China. This will greatly promote the management benchmarking of various farms and effectively promote the high-quality development of Shandong's dairy industry.

The first edition of the Map of Shandong Dairy Industry 2023 shows the development of Shandong's dairy industry, marks the main Prefecture-level city and base counties for milk production, 153 representative large-scale pastures in Shandong and 17 dairy enterprises, and announces 20 high-yield pastures and the top 16 Shandong large-scale pastures animal husbandry group.

Coarse fodder is the Basic needs of dairy cows. The planting and application of coarse fodder directly affects the feeding cost and the quality of fresh milk of dairy cows. At present, the industry is facing enormous challenges, including a slowdown in terminal consumption growth and increasing pressure on feed costs. CTC China and the industry are jointly facing these challenges, overcoming difficulties, promoting cost reduction and efficiency increase, and bringing high-quality forage products and new functional feed for ruminants to the industry.

The product is enriched with prebiotic factors for rumen and gut microbiota, facilitating the rapid activation of microbial activity within the rumen and intestinal tract, particularly in the hindgut. This enhancement leads to increased secretion of endogenous enzymes in the digestive tract, resulting in significantly improved digestibility of crude fiber, particularly the degradation rate of insoluble fiber. Additionally, the metabolites produced by healthy bacterial communities play a crucial role in promoting the proliferation of epithelial cells within the digestive tract, thereby maintaining its integrity and overall health.
