Peng Wenbo, the chairman of Horun (Dongying) Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., provided an overview of the current planting status of Leymus chinensis. After two years of development, over 2000 mu of Leymus chinensis have been cultivated. Beyond serving as direct forage, Leymus chinensis can also undergo further processing to produce various high-quality feed forms. Moreover, due to its robust root and stem penetration, Leymus chinensis plays a significant role in soil stabilization and serves as an effective plant for water and soil conservation. Chairman Peng Wenbo expresses full confidence in the future breeding and promotion of Leymus chinensis.

The Shandong Dairy Association has actively engaged in promoting, breeding, and disseminating information about Leymus chinensis since its inception in Shandong.

The industrialization of Leymus chinensis in Shandong has begun to take shape and is expected to gradually develop a complete industrial chain encompassing seed breeding, cultivation, technology, management, processing, and sales in the future.
