Australian supplier Mr. Andrew Bolt visited the factory

Australian oatgrass supplier HayAustralia (Australia Hay Pte Ltd) general manager Andrew Bolt (Andrew Bolt) and his company’s export assistant, China sales manager Guo Lina (Christina Guo) visited CTC on May 2, 2018 invited by CTC.

Mr. Andrew began by introducing HayAustralia (Australian Hay Pte Ltd), which operates on a farm-to-farm model, cultivating, storing, processing, and marketing high-quality oatgrass grown in the dryland planting areas of Australia. HayAustralia boasts two modern production bases located in Western Australia and Victoria, the primary oatgrass production regions in Australia. These facilities ensure a continuous and reliable supply of high-standard, high-quality oatgrass to customers.

During his presentation, Mr. Andrew elaborated on the impact of the Australian climate on oatgrass cultivation, the oatgrass harvest season, and the criteria for determining optimal harvest timing. He provided detailed information on the oatgrass cultivation area in Australia and various key indicators and data related to oatgrass. He emphasized that Australian oat hay serves as a vital feed source for dairy cows at all stages of production. With the inclusion of oat hay in their diet, dairy cows experience improved health, prolonged production cycles, increased milk yield, and enhanced milk quality. Australian oat hay serves as the primary source of digestible fiber for dairy cows, contributing to their overall well-being and productivity.

 Oat hay as a retained fiber source, its unique qualities are:

1: Highly digestible fiber, a palatable source of feed for all dairy cows in the lactation stage, especially in the dry milk period, perinatal period and early lactation period, it can provide dry matter intake.

2: Soft texture, with the reputation of "sweet hay".

3: Low potassium content, low nitrate nitrogen (<200ppm), safe feeding.

4: Can be fed alone or as part of TMR.

5: Non-GMO crops grown only in Australia.

Afterwards, Mr. Andrew introduced the modernization process of Australian grass seed planting, harvesting, processing and storage in detail. Manager Dong also introduced China's domestic planting and storage methods to Mr. Andrew. The two sides reached an agreement on the import method of pet-grade oat grass.

Manager Dong Xuhua introduced CTC's development history, corporate culture and company products to Andrew and others. Mr. Andrew praised CTC and said that CTC is its most important customer and hoped that the cooperation between the two parties would be closer in the future.
