The first Shandong Coarse Feed Resources and Utilization Conference completed successfully

In the current low period of the dairy industry, reducing the cost of dairy cattle breeding has become the key. Dairy cow coarse feed accounts for a relatively high proportion of the cost of dairy cow breeding and affects the quality of milk. In order to fully develop domestic and foreign high-quality roughage resources, improve utilization efficiency, reduce dairy animal feeding costs, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the dairy industry, the first roughage resources and utilization conference sponsored by Shandong Dairy Association and co-organized by Qingdao CTC Feed Co., Ltd. It was successfully held in Laixi, Shandong on May 26-27, 2015. The theme of this conference is innovation, transcendence, collaboration, and development.

Huang Diyong, Deputy Mayor of Laixi City, Zhai Guiyu, Deputy Director of Shandong Animal Husbandry General Station, Wang Guiyue, former Director of Shandong Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau, Zhang Jianhong, Chairman of Qingdao CTC Feed Co., Ltd., and Zhang Zhimin, Chairman of Shandong Dairy Association, attended the opening of the meeting and delivered speeches. Other leaders participating in the meeting were Wang Qianbin, Deputy Director of Qingdao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Wan Fachun, Director of Shandong Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute, Wang Renbo, Director of Laixi Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau, Chen Gu, Vice President of Grass Industry Branch of China Animal Husbandry Association, Wang Chengwu, General manager of Shandong Dadi Dairy, Li Zan, deputy general manager of Shandong Yinxiang Weiye, and Zhang Xicheng, China Dairy Suppliers Alliance. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Zhu Hetian, Secretary-General of Shandong Dairy Association. A total of more than 500 people from large-scale farms, dairy farming cooperatives, and feed-related companies in Shandong Province attended the meeting. Deputy station director Zhai Guiyu, vice chairman Chen Gu, Professor Lin Yingting of Qingdao Agricultural University, and many other experts and scholars gave wonderful reports at the conference. At the same time of the conference, the participating companies also carried out product demonstrations and exchanges.

In the lucky draw part of the dinner, some domestic and foreign forage experts, partners, dairy farmers and other guests are invited to interact on the spot, fully reflecting the purpose of this conference, just like the speech of CTC Chairman Mr. Zhang Jianhong at the opening ceremony: "We will provide farmers with a communication platform. Breeding and processing are a big platform, under the current situation of the dairy industry, everyone should keep together for warm and take practical actions. We hope that the spring of the dairy industry will come sooner. And we also hope that we can get more friendship and cooperation through this conference.
