On September 23rd, the "Microorganisms and Green Agriculture Industry-University-Research Cooperation Conference" was held at the Weihai Bihai Yilin Resort Hotel. The conference was guided by the Weihai Agricultural Science and Technology Research Institute and the Weihai Livestock Industry Development Center, and was hosted by the China-Eastern Europe Science and Technology Exchange Association (Hungary) Tianjin Representative Office and the International Bionic Engineering Society. It brought together top experts in the agricultural field, government leaders and enterprise representatives from both domestic and international sources. Qingdao CTC Feed Corp, as one of the organizing units, participated throughout the event. General Manager Zhang Hong presented two keynote speeches, injecting "Cornell wisdom" into green agriculture. CTC China, through its agricultural industry chain practice and innovation, has become an important force promoting the collaboration of industry-university-research.

At the conference site, the unveiling ceremony of the three major demonstration bases kicked off the event with great enthusiasm. Among them, "Weihai Industrial Starch Potato Base" was jointly established by Xiaoguan Town Government, Jilin University Weihai Bionic Research Institute, Shandong Dongsen Zhongjie Biotechnology Engineering Co., Ltd. and Qingdao CTC Feed Corp. This project not only recognizes CTC CHINA's strength in the sweet potato industry, but also marks a crucial step for Cornell China in the green agricultural industrialization layout - in the future, it will rely on the base to connect the entire chain of sweet potato planting, processing and application, providing new impetus for the regional agricultural economic development.
In the subsequent academic presentation session, Ms. Zhang Hong, the General Manager of CTC CHINA, delivered a presentation centered on the topic of "Practical Key Points for the Implementation of Sweet Potato Production and Harvesting in Nansha New District, as Well as Sheepgrass Acquisition and Market Prospects". Regarding the sweet potato industry, Ms. Zhang, leveraging CTC CHINA's over 20 years of experience in sweet potato supply chain management, combined with the soil conditions and climatic characteristics of Nansha New District, thoroughly dissected the key technologies involved in the sweet potato cultivation process, such as variety selection, field management, and timing control for harvest. She provided comprehensive support from planting to sales, effectively addressing the sales difficulties faced by farmers.

When it comes to the sheepgrass industry, Mr. Zhang not only analyzed the current supply-demand gap in the domestic sheepgrass market through data, but also disclosed the significant layout of CTC CHINA in technological research and development: CTC CHINA has reached a deep strategic cooperation with Qingdao Agricultural University and established a joint laboratory. Relying on the research advantages of Qingdao Agricultural University in the field of grass science, combined with CTC CHINA's practical experience in feed production and market channels, it provides farmers with full-process support from "planting" to "selling", further breaking through the ecological closed loop of the sheepgrass industry.
